Letting go (gently)
Softness paraphrases a common theme from letting-go teachings: fighting a feeling can keep it sticky; allowing it for a short while often softens it.
Ninety soft seconds
- Name the feeling in one word — fear, anger, craving, shame.
- Notice where it lives in the body. Skip the story for now.
- For about 90 seconds, allow it without fixing or pushing.
- Ask: can I release even a little? If not, allow again. Either answer is okay.
